Terms of service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms apply to your use of ColorLint, run by the ColorLint owner (“we”, “us”) from India. By using the site you agree to them.

Using ColorLint

You may use ColorLint’s free tools to build, check, and understand color systems. You are responsible for the colors, code, and websites you work with and must have the right to use them. If paid plans are introduced, we will add terms for them before you are asked to pay.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, overload it, bypass its limits, or reach other people’s data.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you provide. Colors and code you type or paste are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. A share link holds your colors inside the link; ColorLint does not store it, and anyone who has the link can see the color system.

Suggestions are not guarantees

ColorLint produces suggestions based on color science and accessibility rules. We aim to be accurate, but you are responsible for checking changes before you use them. Accessibility results cover color contrast only and do not guarantee legal compliance or that a product is accessible. ColorLint does not edit your repository.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We try to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero for the free tools). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You may stop using ColorLint at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
